THE AREA
Centrally Located 3.5 hours west of Calgary, 7 Hours East of Whistler and Vancouver. Hands down Roger's Pass is North America's premier ski touring mecca. Roger's offers great terrain, reliable snow and minimal people.
We will be staying at the Roger's Pass Hotel for all five nights. The Hotel is centrally located at the summit of Roger's Pass. From this location we will ski tour from the hotel or travel a short distance to other areas within the pass by vehicle. |
THE CAMP
An INTERMEDIATE CAMP which will better your ski touring & steep skiing skills.
ROGER’S PASS:
An intermediate ski touring clinic will be led by ACMG Jon Simms. Skill sessions will include: use of avalanche gear, up tracking with touring gear, terrain assessment, managing and evaluating hazards.
Descent Clinics will be held by Big Mountain Skier Ryan Oakden . Featured clinics are: Ski cutting, ski line scoping and terrain recognition. |
