OVERVIEW
Offered is a 5 day WASA camp based out of Golden, BC and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. A split camp of lift accessed hill and backcountry skiing at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and two full days of ski touring in Roger's Pass. This combo package exposes our athletes to a variety of ski styles, snowpacks and mountain ranges.

THE AREA
Kicking Horse is located on the eastern side of the purcell mountains in Golden, BC. This Skiing Mecca accesses the Rocky Mountains to the East and the Selkirk mountains to the West.
Golden, BC offers some of the lightest snow on the planet. As well as some of the most challenging hill/backountry of any resort in BC. The kicking horse backcountry is the place for steep couloir skiing!
Guests will be staying in Golden for all five nights. The town boasts a wide selection of restaurants and grocery stores

THE CAMP
An INTERMEDIATE CAMP specializing in couloir skiing. The Gondola at Kicking Horse provides easy access for athletes to the rowdy on piste hill lines as well as the famous backcountry outside of the resort. We will also be using the Roger's Pass area for some great couloir lines.
Clinic topics include: ski and cornice cutting, slough management, couloir assessment, and boot packing. |
