OVERVIEW
The Level 3 Alpine and Glacier course is another continuation to our four level program. Athletes will be using the skills obtained from the levels 1 and 2 courses to build on the Alpine and Glacier component. Alpine Peak climbs/descents and glacier travel/descents are the main focus. Areas used are Spearhead backcountry, Duffey Lake area and Tantalus Range. Weather is dependent on location. Option for hut based trip is available.

• Intro to Alpine objectives
• Glacier travel
• Intro to Ice, Rock and Snow anchors
• Simple crevasse rescue
